Women of foreign countries try to make progress and become independent

For many women participating in a course exclusively for women is the first step out of their family and the first step to their own personal development. The classes for women only offered by the association Hilfe von Mensch zu Mensch” offer the chance for women coming from immigrated family to get together and to learn how to articulate their sorrows and needs. The courses also help entering into a development process in which they get aware of their talents which can lead to a job later

In order to find their place in German society, they have to trust themselves and their fellow men in their environment says a course constructor. An essential part of the work that is done in the all women courses is learning German as it is a fundamental thing for  communicating with women from different cultural backgrounds and with their german neighbours. As many women have not gone to school back in their home countries, learning to read and write, alphabetisation,  is also an import part of the all women courses. It is a great help that almost all courses exclusively for women offer childcare so that the women can participate freed of any worries about their children in the language courses and in discussions and activities. Quite often the all women courses serve as a preparation for the integration courses eventhough they provide own integration courses designed for a hard-to-reach target group.
